Our Story
T Junction 紅綠燈 is a multi-lingual duo made up of vocalist Jia Rui and keyboardist Alina. Formed in 2015, they aim to bring music to people that can accompany them at every junction of their lives.
While the duo started out as buskers,they have gained a wide array of experiences over the years performing for cafes/bars, weddings, corporate and community events. More recently, they participated in MediaCorp’s “Battle Of The Buskers 游走的歌王” and emerged as one of the Top 3 groups.
They have a versatile repertoire which includes Mandopop, English classics and dialect songs such as Cantonese and Hokkien.
Alina Mak
Keyboardist, Songwriter, Producer
Alina is a Singaporean songwriter and producer. She has sold and produced songs for regional artistes like Jocie Kok, Thomas Kok, Mark Lee and Jaspers Lai. With a classical background coupled with her days in Chinese Orchestra, she can play a variety of instruments such as piano, guitar, yang qin and percussion. She has been doing live music performances since 2014.
Lim Jia Rui
Vocalist, Vocal Percussionist
A seasoned busker, Jia Rui prides herself as a vocal powerhouse. Besides serenading the crowd with her soulful voice, she plays a supportive role with the occasional vocal percussion, adding unique color to the duo’s performances. On top of regular gigs, her experience also includes A Capella Christmas caroling and directing a mandopop concert.
